The Caribbean and Pacific coasts of Panama are two ecosystems only a few miles apart, and are a paradise for divers. Irene Mendez Cruz has been photographing the beautiful, diverse and fragile marine life there. 

Birds of the Photo Ark is an exploration of birds from around the world by acclaimed photographer Joel Sartore, and includes hundreds of species, from tiny finches to charismatic eagles; and perennial favourites such as parrots, hummingbirds, and owls. 

The remote Caribbean island of Redonda is home to a variety of beautiful wildlife, including several endangered reptiles and major seabird colonies. Ed Marshall travelled there with Fauna & Flora International to photograph the range of species in this unique ecosystem.

Many refer to Hong Kong as the 'Concrete Jungle' due to its high density of skyscrapers and buildings in its famous skyline. Daphne Wong investigates its wild side.
